⚠️TREND ALERT⚠️

West Indies style is BIG in new home design right now, especially in Florida. This exterior design style recalls themes from 18th and 19th century Caribbean architecture. West Indies style architecture is predominant in the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, British Virgin Islands and other Caribbean islands – it just makes sense for this tropical-feel design to be on the rise in Florida!

You’ll recognize a West Indies elevation by its wide eaves, tall windows (for letting in all the gorgeous tropical sunshine), and Bahama shutters. Large, airy balconies or covered porches are another hallmark of this design style.

This house was designed for our custom client with Stajo Construction and is being built in Yacht Harbor Village, Palm Coast, FL
